Kerja Cuma Duduk, Kok Badan Terasa Linu? Micro Exercise yang Bisa Dilakukan di Meja Kerja

When you think about it, office work doesn’t seem all that tiring—just sitting, typing, meeting, and repeat.

But strangely enough, by the time you get home, your body feels sore all over. Stiff shoulders, a tight neck, aching back, and sometimes even heavy legs. Sitting for long periods can cause muscle tension and slow down blood circulation. The good news? There’s a simple way to fix all that—no equipment needed!

What Is a Micro Exercise?
Micro exercises are short, simple movements you can do in between tasks at work. They require no equipment, take very little time, and—best of all—can be done without drawing attention from your coworkers.

1. Shoulder Roll
Sit up straight, roll your shoulders backward 10 times, then forward 10 times.
Helps improve blood circulation in the shoulders and neck.

2. Neck Stretch
Gently tilt your head to the left and hold for 10 seconds, then to the right.
Reduces tension caused by looking down at your laptop for too long.

3. Seated Leg Lift
Sit tall, lift one leg straight until it’s parallel to the floor, hold for 5 seconds, then lower.
Alternate legs to engage your thighs and improve blood flow in the legs.

4. Wrist Stretch
Extend one arm forward, gently pull the fingers toward you with your other hand.
Helps reduce the risk of wrist pain from prolonged typing.

5. Seated Torso Twist
Place your hand on the back of your chair, slowly twist your upper body to the right, hold for 5 seconds, then to the left.
Relieves stiffness in the lower back.

Desk jobs may feel comfortable, but don’t let your body turn stiff like a statue. With these quick and simple micro exercises, you can keep your body energized all day long. Remember—staying healthy means better focus, higher productivity, and no more aches when you get home.
