Dear Valued Customers of KB Finansia Multi Finance, Thank you for your continued trust and patronage of KB Finansia Multi Finance (KB FMF).

In accordance with our commitment to transparent information disclosure, we would like to inform you regarding a financial incident that occurred at select branch locations as outlined below.


Summary of Incident
•    Details of Financial Incident:
Fraudulent transactions related to durable goods purchase loans involving external individuals and outsourced sales personnel (CRO)
•    Incident Locations: Pekanbaru, Kupang, Bontang, Ternate, Palopo (5 branches in total, 5 different cases)
•    Estimated Loss Amount: Potential Accumulated Impact IDR 14.35 Billion (subject to preliminary findings) *
*) This amount represents the aggregate potential exposure across the identified cases and does not represent the amount of a single fraud incident or the Company's realized financial loss. The investigation, verification and recovery processes remain ongoing, and accordingly, the ultimate financial impact may differ from the amount stated above.
•    Date (Period) of Incident: January 17, 2025 – April 30, 2026
•    Background of Discovery: Identified through abnormal delinquency indicators detected by our internal monitoring system and branch incident reports
•    Action Taken (or Planned):
o    Termination of contracts with involved outsourced personnel and formal reporting to local investigative authorities
o    Enhancement of internal controls, including strengthening acquisition and transaction controls, customer verification, device and location controls, upgrading the Fraud Detection System (FDS), expanding branch audits, and strengthening internal monitoring

This incident occurred within a specific loan process and has absolutely no impact on the personal information, loan contracts, or accounts of general KB FMF customers. No direct financial loss or disadvantage has been experienced by our customers.

•    Warning Against Identity/Name Lending (Crucial Notice)
Please be strictly advised that lending or transferring your personal identity/name, KTP (national ID), or financial documents to third parties, acquaintances, or unverified brokers is a criminal offense. Anyone who allows their name to be used for illegal loan applications or fraudulent transactions may face severe legal consequences and criminal prosecution under applicable laws.

•    Normal Operational and Repayment Services
All financial services, including existing loan agreements and instalment payment processing, continue to operate normally and securely through our official channels.
